Assembled separately, that stack runs a 5-person team roughly $2,000–5,000 a month before anyone has integrated it.

Standard imagery and 3D modeling are included free on every design — no credits, no per-image fee, no imagery subscription. For roofs that need more (heavy tree cover, a complex or low-resolution site), an optional premium imagery add-on is coming soon — we'll publish the price when it launches, and you'll only buy it on the jobs that justify it.

5% of the redline cost of installation before adders — the installer's base price for the job. It is NOT 5% of your gross sales price, not of the financed amount, and never of your margin. It's charged to the org that sells a job it doesn't install, because what the fee buys is install capacity and financing. Install your own work and you pay subscription only. The installer's cost always passes through at redline.

As the job gets installed — not at sale, and not at funding. The fee is collected across the install milestones on the same schedule your lender releases funds to the installer, typically 80% at the install milestone and 20% at completion. You are never asked for it before the work it is attached to has been done.

Yes — one flat cap per project, capped at $50,000 per project, whatever the system size. Because the fee is charged on the redline install cost before adders, a residential system lands far under the cap and simply pays the full 5%; the cap is there so a large commercial job doesn't carry an uncapped percentage.

Then you don't pay the fee at all — subscription only. The fee buys install capacity and financing, and you're using neither. The one exception is a job you sub-contract out: if you route an installation to another EPC through the network, that project pays 5%. There's no per-watt referral fee, and installers never pay to receive work from the network.

Commissions release automatically across the install milestones (SOW / install / PTO) to your team's bank. Bring your own lender(s): Volnova reconciles each funded deal against the lender and the installer, and supports cash deals too.
